After an illustrious 40+ year career with Custard Insurance Adjusters, Inc., Chairman, Rick Linville has announced his retirement effective October 31, 2024. Rick began his journey with Custard in 1982 as an Adjuster Trainee in Indiana, showcasing unparalleled dedication and talent that propelled him through various management roles within the organization, culminating in his appointment as Chairman in 2016.
Alongside his mentor, A. R. “Rick” Custard, Linville has been a driving force behind Custard’s success, demonstrating unwavering commitment, strategic vision, and exceptional leadership. His journey from adjuster trainee to Chairman is a true testament of his dedication, hard work, and the trust placed in him by colleagues and Custard alike. Linville will be missed not only by his peers but also the clients of Custard with whom he has developed many long-term relationships.
Under Linville’s guidance, Custard has achieved remarkable milestones and has solidified its position as a leader in the industry. His legacy of integrity, innovation, and commitment to excellence will continue to inspire and guide the company in the years to come.
Rick will continue in his current role of Chairman until his retirement date. Much of Rick’s time will be spent passing along the wealth of institutional knowledge that he has gained during his long tenure at Custard. While Rick’s departure will be a loss for Custard, the future of the organization remains bright under a strong upper management team.
“Rick’s career at Custard has been nothing short of amazing. His dedication to our company over the last 40+ years is something that you do not see often in today’s business world. He will be missed both by his coworkers at Custard and by the claims industry as a whole. We wish Rick all the best in his retirement,” states Senior VP of Operations, RW Custard.
Rick Linville comments, “I was fortunate to begin my career when the Custard Companies were young and was blessed to work with founder, A.R. Custard for many years. I will always be grateful to him and those within the organization who provided me with so many opportunities. As this chapter ends, it’s clear the Custard leadership, field, sales, and support teams have never been stronger. There is no question Custard will continue to be an industry leader in North America for many years to come.”
