While utilizing CIA field adjusters for physical inspections, the Atlanta-based Heavy Equipment unit provides quality oversight to ensure that the work product you receive is accurate, well documented, and timely, no matter where the loss occurs.
The HE Division always keeps downtime and expense leakage in mind during the claims process in an effort to prevent unnecessary costs.

Our most value-oriented service. Simply supply us with any photos, estimates and receipts you have. Our experienced Heavy Equipment Specialists will audit the provided estimate or supply a desk appraisal and give a recommendation on the value of the claim. ACV and salvage bids are also available at no extra cost.

HE Express
HE Express utilizes modern smart-phone technology to streamline the claims process.
The Process
- Link is sent via email/text to the unit owner.
- Unit owner follows instructions provided to capture accurate damage/unit photos.
- Photos automatically upload to CIA proprietary claims system.
- HE Specialist completes desk appraisal to include ACV/salvage bids (if required).

Shop Agreed Price
Once repair shop submits photos and estimate, our HE Specialists negotiate an agreed repair price for loss related damages. Pre-loss ACV and salvage bids are obtained when appropriate.

- Applicable to any type of equipment and any severity of damage.

Full Appraisal
This is our traditional and most comprehensive service.
The Process
- Field adjuster meets with owner/shop.
- Damage is photographed and any pertinent information obtained.
- Agreed prices, pre-loss ACV, salvage bids secured when appropriate.
To Advantages of Full Appraisal:
- Valuable incident information obtained by field adjuster.
- Personalized service to equipment owner.
- Field adjuster can perform additional tasks while on-site.
Subro Audit
Provide us with subrogation demand and documentation. We verify that listed repairs are loss related, apply use of aftermarket and LKQ parts where appropriate, verify repair operations, labor rates and labor times to ensure repair costs are in order.
